STUDENTSMilne Grove staff members place students at the center of our practice. Each team continually plans for instructional improvement, each year revising our program to enhance our programming and meet the needs of our learners. Over the past several years, our board of education has adopted new math, science, social studies and social emotional curricula aimed at meeting the state learning standards, promoting critical thinking and connecting learners with 21st century skills.

COMMUNITYStrong community collaboration is necessary for any school to thrive, especially a neighborhood school such as Milne Grove. We are fortunate to have the participation of a wide cross section of community groups and agencies in our school. First and foremost, we are thrilled to partner with our parents in their child's education. Parents and caregivers are welcome to volunteer in many capacities; contact Mrs. Koziol or your classroom teacher for more information!

HEALTHStudent health is a strong priority at MG. Physical education and recess are offered daily in grades K-3 to promote activity. Our kitchen offers a nutritious and appealing hot lunch program that ensures students are eating balanced meals while at school. All celebrations and rewards (including student birthdays) utilize non-edible or healthy alternatives to traditional items. We employ a full time school nurse to monitor overall student health and care for individual children.
